Richard’s surprise birthday party hits a snag when Kahlan and Cara are kidnapped during a magician’s performance. The magician threatens to kill them unless Richard kills five men in the town, but we all know that it goes against Richard’s heroic nature to be blackmailed into murdering people.
Much of the magician’s plot is well thought out enough that it keeps our heroes guessing. Most surprising is the twist that he isn’t depending on Richard to do the murders after all, there is a plan B in effect the entire...

As ever, Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy took the top spots for weekly syndication, and Two and a Half Men seems firmly entrenched in third place.
Judge Judy was back on top in the battle of daytime supremacy after giving the lead back to Oprah the previous week.. Maybe there is something to the whole Ellen being on “Idol” helping the daytime “Ellen” show after all. It was in the top 25 for the week, som

Legend of the Seeker fans sounded a collective ‘nay’ last week when a representative from the Tribune Company (which owns most of the stations that air the syndicated show) revealed it would not be interested in a third season. There’s been no official announcement from ABC Studios, of course, but having recently chatted by phone with Aussie star Craig Horner (Seeker’s Richard Rahl) as he relaxed in an Auckland Starbucks, it sounds like the poor guy might be ready for a break.
For those who haven’t checked...

Based on The Sword of Truth book series by Terry Goodkind, ABC Studios’ Legend of the Seeker has picked up where other fantasy shows left off – in New Zealand.
In the mid-90s, fans were wild for fantasy hits Xena and Hercules and producers Sam Raimi and Rob Tapert are just adding more fuel to their fire. Craig Horner stands in no one’s shadow. With 10 years’ experience, the 26-year-old actor (who just celebrated that birthday on January 24) now leads a talented cast in bringing Terry Goodkind’s Sword of Truth fantasy novels to life. In fact, there are so many famous names associated with the internationally syndicated Legend of the Seeker fantasy adventure series that it almost seems like the show was destined for success. Sam Raimi (“Spider-man”, “Darkman”) and Rob Tapert (“Hercules:...
