* Craig: Music is just as much of a passion for me as acting. So it’s just that little creative outlet; when you’re emotionally drained from having a massive day of acting, just silly singing, silly dancing, rocking out man. I just love it.

* Craig: (on being considered as a sex symbol) I don’t think about it, to be honest. It’s great get to people’s attention, briefly, and then hopefully they can appreciate my acting. And I can bring them something, more than just eye-candy. But it’s all just fun and games, I guess.

* Craig: The hero’s the one person who just goes on. He goes through pain, but that’s all part of it. If he’s seen the worst, then whatever is happening at the moment is just a fraction of what he’s already been through. That’s why I love strong people who’ve been through a lot, because they’re just like, ‘Hey man, I wouldn’t worry about your coffee being cold.’ They’re gone through a lot worse, and these things toughen people up.

* Craig: (on the wisdom he gained from the show “Legend of the Seeker”) I guess how to withstand pain. There’s a line from the show, I think from Zed, which is, ‘Don’t think about the past or what will be. See only what is.’ And I’ve learned to do that, because I’ve been through a lot. I’ve learned to accept what is is what is.

* Craig: I think it’s generally a good idea for people to do some sort of bodybuilding or exercise, just for general well-being.

* Craig: (on undergoing major changes in his life after being cast in “Legend of the Seeker”) Oh, man, you hit the nail right on the head right there. It was just that big kind of leap into the next level of my career. I was forced to step up into the lead of a show with 22 episodes, move to another country, set myself up, and yeah, you couldn’t be more right. I’ve really grown up.

* Craig: I love revenge stories. I enjoy movies like Braveheart, where a person’s home and loved ones are taken away from him

* Craig: (on starring in the fantasy adventure series “Legend of the Seeker”; in a 2009 interview) As a kid, I was so into this kind of thing. I had a great imagination, and I would go in the backyard with a stick and start chopping up imaginary people. Now, I get paid to do it, and with a real sword. It’s freaking unreal. Thank God I’m prepared for the action, because there’s plenty of it.

* Craig: (on familiarizing himself with the story behind “Legend of the Seeker”) I read the first book [The Sword of Truth: Wizard's First Rule] before we started shooting because we had quite a bit of free time and since there were no scripts yet that’s all we could really do and get a hold of our characters.

* Craig: (on his character in “Legend of the Seeker”) I’ve done all I can as an actor to try to develop my character, taking him from a boy to a man in terms of story-line and am really just focused on finishing the first season. In terms of the second season right now I really don’t know a thing about it. All I do know is that they’re not filming with the book because if they went with the book every season there would be no room for the viewers to be surprised.

* Craig: (on whether he’d like to work in America) I don’t know. Personally I just want to get to the stage in my life and my career where I can live where I want to live wherever that may be, be it New York, LA or Australia and just work on great projects.

* Craig: (comparing “Legend of the Seeker” to “Xena” and “Hercules”) We had those shows in Australia when I was growing up and I remember them well. I recall being somewhat into them, although not overly. I thought at the time that both Xena and Hercules were very tongue in cheek and didn’t take themselves too seriously. Whereas with our show, the world has changed and people want their fantasy shows to be a bit more serious.

* Craig: (on Craig doing his own stunts on his show “Legend of the Seeker”) Ah, well, OK. I do a lot of my own stunts, because the stunt coordinators plan it out really safely. The way we’ll shoot it is if I’m having to fight with another actor we’ll shoot my side of it, shoot me with a stunt double and get all of that done, and then, later in the day, because we’re on such a tight schedule and we have two major units going, we can have my stunt double, who is a martial-arts double, go and shoot the reverse, over the shoulder. He’s amazing. He makes me look so good. He’s working almost just as hard as me, because it’s a very, very active show. So I’ve got to go and say all the lines while he’s picking up the scenes of traveling on horses and all that stuff. This guy is amazing.
